Some of you must be wondering who is this guy. I'm not surprised but to be true he is one of British's best known jazz artiste. I would like to introduce them to you because his jazz-pop songs are truely a mesmerizing experience.

  • Why is he called the Jazz Hobbit?

First of all it's due to his height. Hobbit is also known as halflings from the famous novel of the 20th century "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy". It describes hobbit as beings who averages 3 feet tall with some rarely going 4 feet tall and therefore known as halflings for being half the size of a normal human being. But of course Jamie Cullum wasn't THAT short, his height was around 4 feet something ( couldn't really remember ) and he's quite short for British standard where 5'10" is normal for men and hence named the Jazz Hobbit.

  • Why is he special?

Why, it's obvious. If you get a chance to see him play piano, you'd be stunned. He plays insane jazz piano, which most of us couldn't even play. And besides that, he sings to his jazz pieces, now that's special. He has mostly jazz songs and occasionally does pop musics, all of them was nice. But I would recommend for those who want to listen to nice songs from him to search for titles "All At Sea" and "Everlasting Love". The song "Everlasting Love" was a cover version, which means someone actually sang that song first, but nevertheless Jamie outshines the last singer by miles.
